What we fabricate
Primary structural frames
Rolled and built-up columns, rafters and rigid frames for industrial buildings, with their base plates and connections.
Steel joists and joist girders
Open-web joists and joist girders, the roof system of the Centro de Distribución VH and the Stanley Black & Decker plant.
Plate work and CNC cutting
CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting for base plates, gussets, stiffeners and embeds, drilled and bevelled to your details.
Detailing and shop drawings
Tekla and BIM detailing: approval-ready shop drawings, erection drawings and piece marks, or fabrication from your approved set.
Finish to your specification: shop primer, a paint system or hot-dip galvanizing. Mill test reports give traceability for every heat of structural steel.

From your drawings to steel on your site

Send drawings (PDF, DWG, DXF or a Tekla model). We reply within 24 business hours. Quote turnaround depends on scope; we confirm it in our first reply.
Shop drawings
We detail the package or work from your approved set. You approve before any steel is cut.
Fabrication
Cutting, fit-up, AWS D1.1 welding and finish in our Hermosillo plant, with quality control at each stage.
Export documents
Loading, the commercial invoice, packing list, mill test reports and, where the product qualifies, a USMCA certification of origin.
Delivery
At our plant, at the Nogales border or DDP to your job site, marked and bundled in erection sequence for your crew.

Contract fabrication questions
Can a US contractor hire a steel fabricator in Mexico directly?
Yes. US general contractors, erectors and fabricators contract fabrication in Mexico to add shop capacity. We quote from your approved drawings, fabricate in our Hermosillo plant and hand the steel over at our plant (FCA), at the Nogales border or delivered duty paid (DDP) to your job site. For pickup at the plant or delivery at the border, your customs broker confirms the duty for your HTS classification before you order; with DDP, duty is part of our delivered price.
What drawing formats do you work from?
Approved shop drawings and design documents: PDF drawing sets, DWG or DXF files, and Tekla or other BIM models. If you only have design drawings, our engineers produce the shop drawings and send them for your approval before any steel is cut.
What welding and quality standards do you fabricate to?
Structural welding to AWS D1.1, dimensional checks against the approved shop drawings, and quality control at receiving, fit-up, welding and finish. Mill test reports (MTRs) for the structural steel travel with the shipment.
How does delivery to a US job site work?
Our plant in Hermosillo is about 175 miles (280 km) south of the Nogales–Mariposa crossing. Every package is quoted three ways: pickup at our plant (FCA), delivered at the Nogales border, or DDP to your site. You choose; the quote names the handover point. How steel building delivery works.
What is your lead time?
It depends on tonnage and connection complexity. Fabrication starts after shop-drawing approval and runs while your site work goes ahead, and large packages ship in stages. Send your drawings and schedule and we confirm the dates in the quote.
Do you also erect, or fabricate only?
In Mexico we design, fabricate and erect turnkey. For US projects we supply the fabricated steel and your erector installs it; we detail the connections, mark every piece and bundle the steel in erection sequence.
