5,000 sq ft · Engineered Kit · Fabricated in Sonora, Mexico
A 50×100 steel building kit — 5,000 sq ft — is the classic small warehouse and the size Texas and Arizona buyers most frequently ask us to quote delivered to their site. It is large enough for a forklift aisle with racking on both sides, or a light production line with a small office, and still small enough to erect with a rented crane in about a week.

Weights and truckloads are planning figures for a conventional pre-engineered building; the quote is engineered to your site's wind, snow and seismic loads and your opening layout.
Go to a 16 ft eave minimum if you will use pallet racking; 20 ft if you plan a future mezzanine or 3-high racking.
If trailers will back up to the building, tell us the dock-door position and whether you want a recessed dock or a raised slab — it changes the framed opening and the foundation.
5,000 sq ft is where insulated sandwich panel walls start to pay back quickly in the desert Southwest; ask for the single-skin vs. insulated panel comparison in the quote.
Clear-span rigid frame. Shop-welded, primed, match-marked by erection sequence.
Z/C purlins and girts, bracing, framed openings, roof and wall sheeting, trim and fasteners.
Erection drawings, anchor-bolt plan and the calculation package for your engineer of record to stamp.
FCA plant, delivered at the Nogales border, or DDP to your site. A 50×100 is 1 full flatbed, occasionally 2.
